The works in this section range from scenes of the Southwest, Mountain West and the Far West. Ziemienski’s work bears several hallmarks marking it like no other. There is a strong link to vintage travel posters that enthusiastically summoned visitors to Rome, Paris, Amsterdam and Barcelona throughout the 20th century. He flips the concept by importing the look and feel of the travel poster, but highlighting stateside places like Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
